The First Day of Spring is finally here!  Put away your snow shovels, open up those curtains, and watch as Mother Nature’s beauty awakens from a long winter’s slumber.  Spring is a celebration of new beginnings, new colors…new everything.  It’s like the Second New Year; out with the old, in with the new and brace yourself for nature at its best.  One of my favorite all-time quotes is from hysterical comedian Robin Williams,

“Spring is nature’s way of saying, “Let’s party!”

That is such of fun way of looking at it!  And here is some food for thought.  It occurred to me that the beginning of spring is strikingly similar to when a baby is born.  The baby is hibernating in mommy’s belly for 9 months, and when that special day comes, baby is born into a new world, ready to embark on life’s journey.  To all the mommies out there who are having Spring babies, what better way to welcome your little treasure into the world than to a beautiful, blossoming nursery?
