Hi mamas! I’m Tiffany of Tiffany Leigh Interior Design, one of the design contributors here at Baby Cafe. I’m so excited to be here today sharing a design bored for one fly baby – today’s room theme is all about soaring to new heights with flight and aviation. It also features this weeks amazing giveaway, the DaVinci Sleigh Multiposition Lock Glider. Most parents swear by a good glider to rock their baby to sleep, so be sure to enter to win your very own! Click here for full details!
Here I’ve paired the DaVinci Glider with matching the DaVinci Kalani 4-in-1 Crib in Espresso for a cohesive and unified look. From there, I mixed rich colours, textures and patterns to create a layered, collected look.
I went with a subtle theme for this ‘Fly Baby Nursery’. Rather than plaster planes everywhere, I combined cloud art, steamer and campaign furniture (reminiscent of travel of the past), an airplane mobile, antique models and toy, and a Thom Filicia seagull print for the bedding to capture the theme of flight. The steamer trunk would make such a stylish toy chest!
