Are you trying to create the most unique, beautiful nursery possible? Then you’re in luck. I came across three amazing nursery designs while surfing the web and I’ve shared them below as inspiration. These nursery design pictures were featured on the Home Space flickr page and I love them so much I wanted to show them to everyone!
The first two-tone nursery mixes pastels in green and pink together, by painting pink on the walls, but adding a big, horizontal green stripe to the bottom of one wall. I love this idea because it adds interest to the space, while keeping it quite feminine and beautiful.
This nursery design is for girls, but if you changed the colors to pastel blue and yellow this design could easily be done in a boy’s nursery too. The traditional style nursery furniture is also a great choice for this classic, pastel color scheme and this set will also give mom enough storage space for keeping baby’s things in order.
The second nursery design pairs two dramatic colors of dark grey and red in wide vertical stripes to make a very modern and bold statement in a baby’s nursery. I’m crazy about this color scheme and would use it in my own room if I had the energy to re-paint! I also love the fact that this designer used white, modern nursery furniture in the space to add even more contrast. The scattered accessories that match the wall colors really bring the room together to create one contemporary and awesome baby space.
The last nursery design combines three colors all from the same color family to create a gender neutral, calming baby space. I love how the colors go from light, medium to dark from top to bottom in small to huge horizontal stripes. This is a very unique paint job that makes the room absolutely stunning. The addition of lighter, natural colored baby furniture keeps the room’s tranquil vibe intact. Any baby would thrive in this type of nursery and any mom would love sitting in there too. How relaxing!
